Delicious food, awesome atmosphere. We came from Ohio and decided we wanted to check this place out and couldn't be more pleased!! Staff is very helpful and super nice!! The jalapeno cream corn is DELICIOUS!! I highly recommend this place...especially if you are a horror fan!!

This place was a site to see! A must for the horror fan. Lots of memorabilia for sale. Nice cabins to rent each with a fire pit. Outdoor common area with restrooms and showers for those that choose to stay. They say they don’t scare any one with chainsaws lol but a weed eater would do it for me here . Now for the most important part the BBQ sandwich is off the chain ! Best ever! I will be back for the sandwich fir sure. Fun friendly staff . The building has been restored to just like the movie, even the van is here. Kinda scary feeling lol

Brisket was on-point and the spicy jalapeno sausage was especially good. Being able to substitute chili for the two sides was a nice option. Very affordable for the two meat plate and serving size was appropriate. Gentleman that took our order had an amazing personality. Was very friendly. All around great experience!

Awesome place to visit...drove out here on our way back to California..food is great for being a smoked brisket...recommend to people who want to try something different...we got the brisket and potato salid...this place is the Orginal gas station from the film Texas chainsaw massacre...

I love this place! The BBQ is great and the staff here is always so awesome! Great collection of horror memorabilia and generally cool vibes all around. Fun place to take friends visiting the area. I'm so happy this place is still around. If you are a horror nerd you will love it here!!

We showed up almost close to closing time, but it is a small store with awesome spooky souvenirs. Staff are super friendly. Love that they do have cabins to rent out but unfortunately you do need to get it ahead of time, they are always booked. Looking forward to staying a weekend.

Awesome place, friendly and welcoming staff.The cabin was great. An awesome selection of horror movies to choose from for your overnight stay. Very Nice and Clean restrooms/showers. And of course delicious BBQ. This is a for sure stop for any you horror enthusiasts.

Food is quality BBQ just like I had growing up in South Texas. BBQ places like this are getting harder to find. Highly recommend the brisket and sausage platter with beans and potato salad. The inside is pretty cool, decked out with horror movie memorabilia to browse during your short wait for your food. So glad we happened across this place during our stay in Smithville. Quick stop, great grub.
